The White Coat.

The white coat ceremony is a relatively new tradition in medical schools. It marks the beginning of one’s journey as a physician. At Creighton University, each student was presented with a physician’s white coat as their academic accolades were proclaimed over head. Friends and family of the students watch as their loved ones are inducted into this distinguished profession. Though a fairly simple thing, walking across a stage and putting on a white smock, it was a definitive marker of a new journey beginning. I am so thankful to be able to be a part of it.
